I dag fik jeg en mail fra Serbien med emnet: Congratulation!. Jeg havde sendt værker – kun foto – ned til bedømmelse hos Juryen for 14th Biennial of naive and marginal arts på Museum of Naïve and Marginal Art i Jagodina i Serbien. (Bonusinformation: Jagonia betyder Jordbær på serbisk. Byen med 36.000 indbygger ligger 135 km syd for Beograd)
Dear Dorte Marcussen,
Congratulation! Your paintings “Badstuegade”, “Moelleplads, Haderslev”, “Marielystvej, Haderslev”, and instalation “Alphabetical shops in x dimensions” are accepted for the exhibition 14th Biennial of Naive andMarginal Art.
Jury are decided to award your paintings with the “Special Mention for Exhibited Works”!
Can you please send the paintings soon as possible for exhibition! And can you send to mail the photos of Paintings in high resolution for the cataloque. The opening of exhibition is on October 9th. It would be great if you could com to the opening! Thank you very much for cooperation and participation!
Thank you very much for your determination to five or more works from the collection “29 shops from A to A” donate to the collection of our Museum of Naive and Marginal Art, and we have one suggestion but only if you find that acceptably. We find the collection “29 shops from A to A very interesting, but, if you agree and if it is possible, insted of those we would like tu have in our collection of the Museum one of paintings: “Badstuegade” or “Moelleplads, Haderslev”. If it is to much to ask, we would like to buy one of those paintings, if our budget alow that.
